There are a lot of factors that go into who wins and loses a basketball game, but the simplest one is scoring. A team with four players in double digit figures, typically wins against a team that only had two players reach double digit scoring. Such was the case as the Eastland Cougars used a big second half to run away from River Ridge in a 70-44 non-conference win.
Early on, the game was close. Eastland was trying to run the Wildcats off the floor, but River Ridge likes to run too – and had one big advantage in the form of 6'6" Joe Winter.
The Cougars struggled to contain the Wildcat big man...
