I agree with you about the importance of local newspapers. I read Dan Rather’s book WHAT UNITES US. He is right that a local newspaper keeps a community together. Social media separates people into little cliques. Who else keeps people informed about local government and events? You do a good job of that. I hope you find someone to carry the torch before you retire.
