River Ridge FFA Wins Agronomy CDE

Fifteen high school and three Jr. High members from the River Ridge FFA Chapter traveled to Lena to compete in this years' Section One Agronomy CDE (Career Development Event) on Wednesday, November 13th. There were twelve different schools at this event with a total of 18 teams competing.

At this contest students were tested in a variety of ways. They were challenged through weed identification, crop seed identification, harvesting/planting/research equipment identification, a test on soil knowledge and judging sets of both corn and soybeans.
