Crash With Injuries

On 10/21/2024 at approximately 11:50 A.M., the Jo Daviess County dispatch center received a phone report regarding a traffic crash with injuries on Highway 84 South, near the intersection of S. Four Corners Rd, rural Savanna, IL.

Upon arrival, Deputies learned that Ashley Empen, 40 of Epworth, IA, was operating a vehicle north bound on Highway 84 South. Empen’s vehicle entered into the south bound lane of travel, before ultimately striking Rosemary Haring’s vehicle, 80 of Savanna, IL, as Haring was heading south on Highway 84 South.
