Yet Another Delay In Broshous Trial

It was supposed to be a Pre-trial hearing – where everyone would simply confirm that they were ready to proceed to the trial scheduled to begin on Monday, October 28th.

That’s what it was supposed to be.

“We’re asking to move the trial back your honor,” said Assistant State’s Attorney Thomas Madigan to Judge Schorsch. “In conversations with the attorney for the defendant, we learned that there is some discovery that they have not received yet.”

“This is a two year old case, and we’re still having discovery issues?” asked Judge Schorsch.
