Thanks For Nothing Mineral Point

The game had been scheduled since last year, but suddenly, Tuesday afternoon just before school let out, Lena-Winslow was notified that Mineral Point – the team they were to play Friday night – was cancelling their scheduled meeting.

“Officially” from what we were able to find out, the reason was that the “Pointers” had suffered too many injuries, and didn’t feel they should put underclassmen in the position of playing varsity competition.
