Typically, we report on the number of kills a team or player gets in a volleyball match. Aces are always impressive, and unforced errors can cost you big time. But a major skill in volleyball that doesn't even have a stat for it is the pass.

Scales Mound and River Ridge put the importance of that skill on full display during their special Volley For A Cure conference battle in Scales Mound on Tuesday.
