Warhawk Baseball Gets A Facelift

Coach Andrew Janecke has received a substantial grant to upgrade the Meridian Park baseball field from a local donor that requests to be anonymous.

The entire old complex was removed: the backstop, chain link fence, storage shed, press box and both dugouts. Concrete pads were poured closer to home plate and the dugouts were stripped of their old siding and placed on the pads where metal siding will be added shortly. A permanent chain link was put up from the right field line to center field.
