Freeport … Be Afraid

The circus side show, otherwise known as the Freeport City Council meeting, took place last Monday night, with very few things on the agenda … but that didn’t mean it didn’t last more than three hours.

It all started with a report from the Albertus Airport Manager, Angie Janssen, who explained the issues the airport was facing. Currently, there are 53 hangers occupied, with 12 still vacant, but all of them – according to Janssen – were in need of some form of repair.

Apparently one hanger has been neglected so badly – and is so very old – that the only recourse at this point is to tear it down...
