Panthers Win Erie Sectional

Every year it seemed that the Lena-Winslow Panthers and Forreston Cardinals would battle in the Sectional for the right to advance on to the State finals. But, for the first time in a long time, the IHSA got something right by separating the two area powers – sending them to different Sectional meets – and opening the door for the Panthers to dominate the field in claiming the Erie Sectional Crown.
