Drug Arrest

On April 22, 2024, at approximately 8:19 p.m., Officers with the Galena Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of South Main Street and Water Street. The vehicle fled from the officer at a high rate of speed traveling down Water Street, north on Franklin Street, and then west on U. S. Route 20. With regard to the public's and officer's safety, Galena Police terminated the pursuit at U.S. Route 20 and U.S. Route 84 North. Galena Police advised that at last sight, the vehicle was traveling north on Menominee Road.
