The Panthers jumped out to the early 2-0 lead in the first, then proceeded to pull away for what looked like a decisive 7-1 lead going into the sixth inning. Luke Madigan struck out seven Wildcat batters in his three innings on the mound, and Cobryn Lynch threw two more shut out innings until the Wildcats woke up in the sixth. Suddenly the game was tied at 7-7 after the Wildcats exploded for six runs – making it a whole new ball game. The Panthers reclaimed the lead with a run in the bottom of the sixth, but RR/SM looked like they had wrapped up the come back...
