George Winter opened the game with a walk, and Derek Distler made Pearl City pay with a two run RBI as part of a four run first inning to put the Wildcats in front. From there, Sam Rife and Distler combined to throw six innings on the mound as they kept the Wolves at bay – allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits while walking one and striking out seven.
