History Of The Stephenson County Fair

Stephenson County Association for Home and Community Education will be sponsoring a program. "History of the Stephenson County Fair" on Saturday, April 20, 2024, 1 pm, at the Stephenson County Farm Bureau, 210 W. Spring Street, Freeport. This program will be held in the Lincoln-Douglas Room (use west door - Walnut Street).

The speaker will be Susie Dvorak, Fair Historian. She has conducted research on the Stephenson County Fair and will share information on how the fair began, what groups were involved and the different locations the fair has been held in the past. Susie will also share memora...
