Pet Rescue Event

On Saturday, December 2, Senator Andrew Chesney (R-Freeport) is partnering with the Friends Forever Humane Society in Freeport for a Pet Rescue Fair. Visitors at the event will be able to interact with pets available for adoption and enjoy half-price adoptions for cats.

"People searching for the perfect pet do not need to look any further than their local animal shelter," said Chesney. "Rescued pets are so grateful when they are adopted. They make wonderful companions."
