The Lena-Winslow FFA Ag Sales team had great successes this year. The team placed second at the Section 1 competition, and proceeded to place sixth at the District 1 event, which took place at Blackhawk East Campus in Galva, Illinois. During this event, members had to successfully market and sell Pioneer corn and soybean seeds to a prospective customer. They must have a strong knowledge of the given product and be able to build rapport with customers. Contestant Mika Schoger says that her favorite part of this event is working with her teammates.
