The 2022 EPC Wildcatz were a product of their schedule more than anything else. Having to open against Lena-Winslow with a young team ... then seeing Forreston and Du/Pec ... the Wildcatz were 0-4 before they even got organized, and when you’re talking high school kids - good luck keeping them motivated when you stand at 0-4.

But that’s where credit needs to go out to coach McNutt and his staff. It would have been very easy to pack it in at that point, but the Wildcatz righted the ship and closed out 3-2 to finish with a 3-6 final record - missing the playoffs yet again.
