Additional Charges Filed Against Sheets

On August 16th, personnel from the Stephenson County Sheriff's Office, assisted by the Ogle County Sheriff's Office, arrested Daniel Sheets, 37 of Dakota, without incident at a residence in the 100 block of S. Elm Street in Davis Junction, Illinois.

The apprehension of Sheets, who was already out on bond for previous charges, was for a Stephenson County felony arrest warrant issued on 8/16-23 for Child Pornography (5 counts) and Unauthorized Videotaping (5 counts), all of which are alleged to have occurred in July of 2019.
