Flag Retirement Ceremony

The Orangeville American Legion Post 720 will be hosting the annual County American Legion Flag Retirement Ceremony on Monday, June 12, 2023, 6 pm, at the Orangeville Village Hall, 301 S. East Street, Orangeville.

The American Legion performs this service, usually around Flag Day. Our faded, frayed and unserviceable U. S. flags are properly, and respectfully, retired and destroyed at this time. Please give your unusable flags to a Legion member at any time. All Legion posts in Stephenson County, the Boy Scouts and Orangeville village officials will take them.
