River Ridge FFA 5th In State

The River Ridge FFA Poultry team traveled to the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana to compete in this year's Poultry Judging Career Development Event. The five-member team were tested in seven different areas of knowledge of the poultry industry. The students graded eggs for both internal and externally quality, graded ready-to-cook carcasses, had a cut ID portion, judged hens on their laying production ability, took a written test and judged further processed poultry products.
