Amendt Opens Strong
Former Lena-Winslow Panther, Max Amendt, threw five innings of shutout baseball on the mound for the Trinity International University Trojans in their opening game of the season against the Grace College Lancers in Hoover, Alabama.
Amendt, a sophomore, struck out three, while only walking one over his five innings of work – without giving up an earned run – but he did not get a decision in the game as the Trojans fell 2-1 on a run in the bottom of the seventh inning.
