Would you like to advocate for survivors of sexual assault and abuse? If so, VOICES of Stephenson County has a volunteer opportunity available for you.
VOICES is starting a volunteer training class for sexual assault services advocates on Aug. 15. The free class is comprised of 16 hours of self-study and 24 hours of in-person classes. Advocates are certified in a 40-hour Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention Training curriculum.
