Most Golf teams lost their stars to graduation, but RR/SM returns Thomas Hereau when already tops everyone's pick as the area's best this year.
The first week of August was the official "No Contact" Week as required by the IHSA, and all over the region High School football and Volleyball teams officially began practice on Monday, August 8th.
But the first competitions are not as far away as you might think. Local Golf teams will begin their season this weekend.
The first competition will take place on Friday when the Stockton Blackhawks travel to Rockford to compete in the Jefferson Jayhawk Invite.
But Saturday is even bigger as the Eastland Cougars will host their season tee off tournament at Lake Carroll with the Eastland Invitation...
