Mobile Gas Station Robbery

On May 27, 2022 around 10:24 P.M., officers of the Freeport Police Department responded to the Mobile Gas Station in the 1200 block of West Galena Avenue in reference to a robbery. Upon investigation, officers learned that a male suspect walked into the business and waited for other customers to leave. The suspect then approached the cashier and displayed a firearm, demanding money from the cash register.

The suspect was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of cash and other items. The suspect is described to be a black male in his early twenties, 5’6” and 150 pounds...
