Drug Take Back Event

On Saturday, April 30th, 2022, from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M., the Freeport Police Department will be participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration's Prescription Drug Take Back Day event. At the Take Back Day event, the public can drop off potentially dangerous prescription medications for proper disposal.

The Take Back Day event will be held in front of the Freeport Police Department, located at 320 W. Exchange Street. Participants can pull their cars up in front of the headquarters building on Exchange Street and one of the event volunteers will collect unwanted, unused, or expired prescript...
