There are rivalries that can be heated and fierce, but then there is the rivalry between Lena-Winslow and Eastland, in which both teams not only respect each other, but admire what the other one is doing as well.

"I've watched Dennis (Huttenlocher) ever since he had the Boy's program over there in Lena," said Cougar head coach Nicole Brinker. "And I knew he'd get the Girls program playing well, and he has."

"Nicole is such a class act and has such a strong program, I keep telling our kids if we want to become a top program like Eastland, we have to learn how to beat them," Huttonlocher said.
