Throughout the first couple of weeks of the Girl's Basketball season, one thing has become apparent – teams with size in the paint have an advantage. But in the case of the Lena-Winslow Panthers, their size is a step above most.
"Having size is big, but we've got size that's really athletic," said head coach Dennis Huttenlocher. "That allows us to do a lot more things in the paint, and when you have kids who can not only play strong inside, but also hit the three ... that's a big advantage."
