On the very first play from scrimmage in the Second Round playoff game at Orangeville, the Martinsville Blue Streaks threw a pass deep down the middle to a wide open tight end, but the pass went off of his fingertips and fell incomplete.
It was the best – and only – chance for the Blue Streaks to get a lead on the Broncos.
Following a three-and-out possession by Martinsville, the Broncos proceeded to march down the field 85 yards – capping the drive with a five yard touchdown run by Gunar Lobdell.
