Pearl City was in a pickle. After making a rally back in game one to claim the 25-19 victory over the Lena-Winslow Panthers, the Panthers had gotten hot – exploding out to a commanding 17-8 lead in game two. For most teams, that's not too big of a deal because you still had the third game to regroup. But Pearl City has yet to win any match that went into the third game this year. So the 17-8 deficit was much more dangerous than it seemed.
