I always firmly believed that no matter how pig-headed a person might be, if you talked to them rationally, showed them the facts of the matter, and told them how you might agree with them in principal, but are limited by the legal parameters you have to follow – that while they might still be mad about a decision, they would understand your points and be responsible about it.

But after witnessing the Lena-Winslow School Board meeting Tuesday night … now, I’m not so sure.
