As we near the end of July and approach the IHSA no contact week, thoughts begin to turn towards the prospect of going back to school. But after going through a Covid-19 year, just how is the upcoming school year going to compare to what everyone endured last year?

The biggest impact came out of the Governor’s Office, in which it was announced that the State of Illinois is not making any blanket policy, and each school district will be able to determine how they handle the resumption of the school year. And from what we’re hearing, the guidelines schools plan to follow is coming from the CDC....
