For the third time in a row, the Orangeville Broncos had made it to the Class 1A Super Sectional, but for the first time in their history, they finally advanced on to the State final four with a strong 11-4 victory over the Williamsfield Cougars.
In any contest, strange hops, mysterious drops and big plays can often turn the tide, and in the first inning things were not looking too good for the Broncos. Tessa Janecke led off with a smash to left field that seemed destined for the fence, but a diving catch by the Cougars' Olivia Farquer sent Cougar fans cheering, and Janecke back to the dugout...
