Carroll County Virtual Brave The Shave Event

This year has been a difficult one for most, and though our own personal struggles may feel overwhelming, children with cancer and their families have felt it tenfold.

As a regular participant in the St. Baldrick's Shave for Kids events, Gina Cozzolino was surprised that there was no Baldrick's event in Carroll County after she moved to Lanark from LaGrange.

So she decided to take the bull by the horns and sponsor an event herself.

Due to the pandemic's effect on head-shaving events, donations to St. Baldrick's have dropped 35% this year, causing a shortfall of almost $13 million in our grants...
