On January 19, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) gave approval for adults age 65 and older to begin receiving the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as January 25.
Due to the large number of eligible patients, scheduling will be done in phases. Monroe Clinic will begin vaccinating patients ages 75 and older as they are at a higher risk for serious complications and hospitalization due to COVID-19.
