FCF Distributes 100K In Covid Emergency Needs Grants

The Freeport Community Foundation (FCF) announced today that it is awarding $100,000 in Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund (ICRF) grants to nine non-profit organizations based in Jo Daviess County. The emergency needs grants awarded include funding for emergency food and basic needs throughout Jo Daviess County including interim housing and shelter, primary healthcare services, utility and financial assistance, nonprofit emergency operations assistance, and support for children, seniors, the disabled, and other at-risk populations as related to COVID-19 losses.
