There’s no way to sugarcoat it – the “New Normal” has people sitting at home alone, unable to gather in any form of social setting, store supplies being hoarded by those seeing a doomsday scenario, and paychecks either already cut, or being seen as in jeopardy as the government decides when to crack down more on our movement.
Whether or not we have a single case of the virus in our region is not the point – we have been hit, and hit hard.
The Illinois Press Association has gotten the Governor to tag newspapers as an “Essential Business” – meaning that there will not be a shut down of the press...
