The Warren Warriors got off to a sluggish start against the West Carroll Thunder at home Wednesday night as turnovers mounted, and the Thunder opened up hot from the perimeter. But once the Warriors settled down in the second half, they used a huge 14-0 run powered by their inside strength of Matthew Riedl and Brayden Bohnsack to claim firm control of the contest enroot to a 65-54 victory.
"We got off to a slow start against Scales Mound on Monday," said senior point guard Ethan Williams. "So we wanted to make sure to come out strong."
