Twas ten days before Christmas and all through the room
Was a terribly heavy feeling of impending doom.
No gifts had been purchased, nothing was wrapped,
While holiday commercials made us all feel quite trapped.
The Christmas duties were almost all done
But nobody ever said they would ever be fun.
The lights were all tangled, and some would not light,
It took hours to fix them in quite a long fight.
