Not The Same NUIC

Everybody knows about the football conference changes, and the proposed Districts soon to be established if nothing changes the IHSA ruling, but what many may not remember – or realize – is that the NUIC conference as it has been known for the past decade or so, went through a re-alignment which will be in place this basketball season.

Instead of two Divisions – the East and West – the NUIC has broken into three.

The new conferences are:

Pearl City

Pecatonica

NUIC South

AFC

Amboy

Eastland

Forreston

Milledgeville

Polo
