    Many older individuals in Stephenson and Jo Daviess counties could qualify for free rides to medical appointments, thanks to a grant awarded to the Senior Resource Center from the Freeport Community Foundation. The party was held at the Stockton Elementary School, immediately prior to the official Trick or Treat hours. Each year the district sells bare root tree, evergreen, and shrub seedlings to increase efforts to provide energy conservation and/or habitat cover for wildlife.
