    Fatal Traffic Accident On 02/15/2022, at approximately 5:17 pm, the Jo Daviess County 911 Center received multiple reports of a traffic accident with injuries in the area of US Hwy 20 West, approximately a half mile west of Mitchell Road in rural Elizabeth. Responding deputies learned an east bound vehicle driven by Kathleen R. McCall, 67 of Elizabeth, had crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic, striking a west bound vehicle head on.
