Editor; It has been a YEAR since a juvenile DESTROYED both public restrooms at the Stockton Park house during a home football game. He tore the soap and towel dispensers and sinks off the walls as well as ruining the toilets in both restrooms. He then started destroying the brick fire pit which the Lion's Club built. Witnesses told the police. The park supervisor gave the videotape to the police which shows the culprit doing the damages. On Saturday, October 10th, Stockton FFA members Case Harmston (son of Greg & Peggy Harmston) and Zane Preston (son of Bryon & Sherri Preston) traveled to Chadwick where they competed in the Section One Trap Shoot at Coleta Sportsman's Club. Stockton Clifford H. Mackeben, 90 Clifford H. Mackeben, age 90, and life-long resident of Stockton, IL passed away at home surrounded by family on October 27, 2020. He was born June 20, 1930; the son of the late Alwin and Eloise Mackeben. Clifford married his high school sweetheart, Betty Jones, on February 10, 1952.
