The Northern Illinois Veterans Association will be conducting a memorial service for all Stephenson County deceased veterans, police, fire and EMS that did not receive "military honors" at their funerals due to the Corona-19 virus. The ceremony will be held at all Veterans Memorial Park on South Walnut Road in Freeport on Sunday, September 20th beginning at 2:00 pm. We were excited to welcome back our students for in-person learning this past week in the Stockton Agriculture Department! The food science class has been busy the last few days putting to use the skills they have learned about the proper cleaning procedures for equipment in the kitchen. Lena Patrick J. Brunner, 53 Patrick J. Brunner, age 53 of Lena, IL, passed away on March 31, 2020. A private family Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Stockton. The weather was cold, with a constant drizzle and biting wind, but that didn't stop the Eastland Cougars from hosting their second Cross Country meet out at Lake Carroll.
