VOICES of Stephenson County is marking its 40th anniversary with a community celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 30 at Freeport’s Lincoln Mall. On June 1, 2022, Jason Campbell of Galena, pled guilty as part of a plea agreement to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, which is a Class 3 Felony. I’m thinking about doing a little work on my lawn but I can’t decide … concrete or gravel? My husband gardens in the nude … it’s a lot more effective than a scarecrow. Collin Fosler, a senior at Scales Mound High School, competed in the High Jump Saturday June 4th in La Crosse for the Wisconsin State Track Meet. Out of 16 jumpers Collin won the WIAA D3 High Jump title with a jump of 6'4" and did it on his 18th birthday! The Jim Shaw Classic All Star Basketball games were held at Eastland High School on Tuesday last week, and the very next day the first ever Volleyball All Star game was played at Eastland as well.
